Making an Appointment
We are facing a high demand for paediatric appointments country-wide.
Our doctors' books are currently closed for NEW Behavioral Assessments but you can join the waitlist.

Please do not call us at this time for new patient appointments. This takes away our staff's time for in-clinic duties just to turn calls away. We reserve the right to turn away our services if our staff is abused or threatened in any way that not only affects our wellbeing but also obstructs the care we are currently giving to our patients.

We understand it may be frustrating to not be able get an appointment. We encourage parents to not give up and keep trying to secure an appointment.
Please follow our instructions carefully if you wish to start this process.

1 REFERRALS
Typically appointments can only be offered with a referral from your GP. They should be addressed to our clinic or our practitioners, with clear indication of what you are being referred for.

The referral cannot be accepted if it is:
-
addressed to another practice/ doctor
-
not within our services provided
-
illegible or in non-PDF format
-
not from a GP or relevant specialist
-
from nurse practitioner

At this stage we can only accept referrals through our automated submission form below. This places you on a waitlist. Any referrals emailed or faxed through will not be received or attended to - this is simply we are at capacity. If your GP has sent one on your behalf, do not take that as referral acceptance. Submission of referrals also does not guarantee an appointment for reasons stated above.

2 WAITLISTED
If your submission is successful, please DO NOT call us as your referral is reviewed. When we reach you on the waitlist you will receive calls on two attempts to organize your first appointment. If we are not able to reach you, a voice message will be left for you to respond to us. In consideration for others in the queue, your referral will be sent back to GP if there is no response within 2 weeks.

3 APPOINTMENT OFFERED
When you accept an appointment, you accept our clinic appointment and cancellation policies. Upon confirmation you will receive an appointment letter and information sheet with further instructions via email. Please check that you have received this and try your junk mail if not found. If you have not received it please let us know promptly.

4 CANCELLATION POLICY
If you wish to cancel your appointment, please ring us at least 48 hours prior to your appointment day.
Failure to do so will incur a $100 (Non-Attendance Fee) which is not claimable to Medicare.

To reschedule appointments within 48 hours we will need a deposit of $250 which is non-refundable and non-transferrable. This is to ensure the appointments are prioritized for those who require it urgently.

These policies are in place to make sure families who need the assessments can get the help they need, we appreciate your understanding and patience in our process.

Existing patients who are undergoing active care with us can make an appointment over the phone with reception team. Please note cancellation and rescheduling policies still apply.
